Yasuyuki Oikawa is a co-founder of Amplified and is responsible for working with customers to innovate their processes and integrate Amplified into their workflows. He holds a Ph.D. in quantum physics and has more than a decade of experience in Intellectual Property (IP), fundamental research, and technology development. Before Amplified, he worked as an IP specialist at Landon IP and NGB, as a product manager at a venture-backed startup, and as a research manager at Tohoku University. His hands-on experience includes invention process management, patent drafting and prosecution, technology transfer, and research management.

Sam is passionate about using technology to augment human intelligence and reduce barriers to patent information. He is a regular speaker on machine learning and the future of IP work.
